Maura began her career in New Orleans where she specialized in tax planning and compliance for high-net-wealth individuals. She transferred to Houston in 2003 to focus her career on the tax issues related to cross border individuals. She currently advises Fortune 500 companies on Tax and HR policy, as well as, consults with taxpayers who are Expatriates, Foreign Nationals, or Accidental Expats.
Maura is responsible for the global management of her client accounts. She has serviced clients both small and large alike, with expatriate populations ranging from just two to over 200. Her clients have been top employers in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemical and Mining fields. Her focus on client service and quick response time make her a welcomed addition to any project.
Maura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the Honor’s College at Loyola University New Orleans. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Outstanding Accounting Graduate Award, the Dean’s Honor Scholarship, and the O’Brian Scholarship. While at Loyola, Maura served as the president of the Accounting Fraternity, Beta Alpha Psi, and was the Editor for the Economic Club’s Journal.
